He’s the same age as Nakamura when they brought him over & he was treated well early on. He would be better served on the main roster than NXT though. Unless they want to make him the face of that brand.

 

I think Okada on the original black & gold NXT would've made a lot of sense, but I don't think it works at all in the current iteration.

 

Also Miz is pretty good lately

 

I imagine if we get Okada in NXT it’s a Dragon Lee run (very short and quick call up)

 

Yeah, I don’t think Triple H would keep Okada in NXT for long if he sends him there first but I don’t believe he will. Nakamura came in during a much different time than now.

 

Yea, I didn’t want to put down the current group there but they had an embarrassment of riches to work with when Shinsuke came to NXT compared to now. They gotta end the Bloodline stuff to open up more TV time though.

 

crazy idea for AEW attendance:

charge whatever you want for floor seating, and maybe the one section opposite the hard camera.
10$ everywhere else.
you get more people through the turnstiles.
more people buying merch (merch tables need to be addressed too)
more people in attendance make it look like the place to be through the tv screen.
better chance for return customers when the show comes back around in 8-12 months.

i'd go one step further and say charge 10-20$ for every PPV, especially if the plan is to go monthly with them. gotta love wwe for killing the PPV market by having the network for five bucks with all the monthly shows on it. if there's methods for paying 20$ online now, why not just make it the norm?

 

No way Okada goes to NXT if he goes to WWE. And I know shit all about Okada besides his name. But that would be the biggest steal from AEW when they’ve been getting the big name free agents. Theres no way they don’t put that right on the main roster

Hey, I just started too! Well I was a big fan in the attitude era and before, and would check in periodically, but I just started watching Raw regularly and Smackdown occasionally the last couple of months. Hulu puts them both up the day after they air if you wanted to start sooner than next year. Everyone here seems to hate Raw, but it's been pretty good.

 

WWE burned the goodwill of a lot of fans so I understand, but I agree that the show has been better in the last few months. No coincidence that it got better as soon as Triple H took full control.

 

Minus the show being pretty bad, this photo still rules.

 

WWE’s presentation style still is off-putting to me and honestly it’s 3 hours and too much filler — even in the drastically improved era of WWE we are in. I’ll watch the big PPV’s and catch up when I can.

 

I really still cannot get over the piped in crowd noise they’ve been doing since 2020

 

Piped in noise since 2020 and their ratings have skyrocketed so maybe AEW should take note

 

Excalibur/Tony/Tazz booth not shouting every single word over the entire match with absolutely zero room to breathe was also a nice breath of fresh air that makes it hard for me to go back to WWE.

 

Raw is a pretty tough watch for me, I can only make it through one hour. I think if it went back to 2 hours than I can definitely get through it.

It's been way longer than that. Smackdown in the late 2000s and later was pure hair dryer noise.
