I was thinking of this today, and there were some great recs in that other post, TTNG being the most obvious. But, I thought there were some releases I listened to a lot last year that made me feel like Delta Sleep - they're maybe only slightly similar, but there's this vibe (more on the emo side than math rock too)

Me too. I’m soooo looking forward to it. They were all at a festival last year in MI and were awesome.

 

The singer definitely is trying to sound like Brandon Boyd, just not nearly as talented.

 

song I wrote after breaking into a school bus on my landlord's property on new year's day to record music, thinking they'd be cool with it because they were hippie-ish burners on vacation in hawaii. they ended up evicting and scapegoating me but I wrote two songs and left with nothing but love for my housemates so feels like I won

(I didn't choose the outlaw country life it chose me)

tbh, just work your way through this as there's a lot of crossover in here. enemies, pretend, rooftops, etc.

 

I was about to get on that list as well, it's amazing there are bands I haven't heard right in the first 10 tracks (though there are bands I do know in the last 10 tracks too)
