That was a song that was written for Dopamine but to my knowledge has never gotten any studio treatment. The working title was "I got so High" Sherri is a Stoner was played around that time too, written for Dopamine. Glad that one finally got studio treatment.

I guess, compared to that. But to be fair, there aren't many songs in general, for me, that reach that caliber of song writing.

Good EP. Wish he could resist his impulse for spoken word though.

  4. I LOVE the new EP! I must have listened to "Company of Strangers" 30 times by now. I can't get enough of that song, haha. I haven't listened to the last few 3EB albums, but now I'm thinking I should. They're good right? What's the best of their most recent stuff?

I think pretty much all of Dopamine is pretty solid...

Really hope we eventually get a studio version of "I Got So High". I remember feeling so special hearing that live.

Personally, the band has never not been good. I was initially pretty underwhelmed by Dopamine but I love that album now.

i really like the EP. It's the first album of there's that I've liked all the way through. I love Weightless the most right now, but the whole album is such an easy listen, I can just put it on repeat.

She don't let the dub step stop
She wouldn't do it if she can
Busting through the door like the Kool-Aid Man

Singing hey, everybody, whomp whomp whomp
    Hey, everybody, whomp whomp whomp

    :crylaugh:love that part.

"Last few albums" would include Out of the Vein, which you absolutely should listen to. "Faster," "Blinded," "Can't Get Away," and "Palm Reader" are among my favorite 3EB songs, and the first 6 tracks are as good a stretch as you'll find on any of their albums.

This band's entire discography is great. I really can't choose a favorite.

My band mates and I constantly try to pick top 5 or top 10 favourite 3eb songs and it's almost impossible

I feel the same. I know the self-titled is an ultimate classic and their best album, but Out Of The Vein is my favorite. It's the album I always had on in the garage while I vacuumed my car during my formative years and when I was doing a lot of thinking. Which is irrelevant but that is my reason. The guitar tones on that album always grab me.

Anyone know if they're selling vinyl on this current tour? Specifically their self titled? I already have it, and know it's on sale at their store, but just want to know what their merch setup is looking like. Thanks!

I wish people who weren't specifically 3EB fans gave a shit about "Company of Strangers", its one of the best tracks of the year in that genre and their best single probably since OOTV.

I said when it was first released that it sounded like it could've easily fit on that record. Absolutely in love with the song. However, to your point they are my favorite band

Mine too. I just feel that lately, in regards to their songwriting, Jenkins has been showing his age. Not on Company of Strangers, at all.

Eh, I think he's still an amazing songwriter.
