Same! Figured it would be factory or music park, but wondered if they jump to small arenas this quick. Glad it’s factory cuz it’s the most spacious floor

Gotta respect the hustle but sleep token definitely released 2 dates at the iconic venues outside of the tour to milk prices with people thinking that their touring engagement would be less this year. Kind of annoying they're in my town just a week before BUT it is at my least favorite venue so I'll take red rocks but a tad on the shady side.

 

I legitimately do not understand the Sleep Token hype, but if the kids are happy, have fun.

 

Sleep token are playing inside at the salt shed. It holds 1400 people less than the outside

 

They got a variety of sounds throughout their discrography making them hard to categorize and giving them wide range appeal. I don't get the whole story and lore to them and that part of the appeal, but I can vibe with the music. Granite is a prime example for why - I describe them as Hozier gone heavy.

 

Fair, but it's just the out of nowhere explosion that doesn't make sense to me. Like I get lightning in a bottle happens in the music industry, but it's just pop singing over djent riffs to my ears.

Probably just a case of "old man yells at cloud", but I'll stick with the even more inaccessible shit I listen to on a daily basis.

 

If you're even remotely familiar with late 90s/early 00s rap you've def heard a fuck ton of songs that he's produced

 

My main takeaway from Jazz Fest is I hope this means we'll get some new music/touring from Anderson .Paak this year

 

Come to think of it, I can't believe Silk Sonic never did a tour. Aside from their Vegas residency they didn't do any other shows.....they would've been an amazing Coachella/Lolla headliner too

 

is Bruno Mars a legit draw for a festival crowd (younger attendees than a typical arena show)? I saw Bruno once and the demographic was very much white women 38-60yo.

 

Ruston Kelly was teasing a tour announcement for Tuesday.

 

Bad Omens sold out the place the same day. Sleep Token will do the same.

 

Such a good show too in Vegas

 

I guess Bruno doesn't really need to tour, would love to see him one day though
