Initial reaction is that the issues I had with the mix on Routine Maintenance have been totally solved.

 

I'm not a big production guy, but this song sounds fantastic.

I didn't have specific qualms with Routine Maintenance, but I hated the production on No Closer to Heaven.

 

Last album did not hit like the first but hoping this one grabs me

 

I liked the last one a fair bit but yeah not as much as the first. Only listened to the EP like once or twice I think.

just saw ace has writing credits for this on AM. has he always been involved with AW? i admittedly haven't followed it that closely since the debut.

 

Yep, he's played on, produced, and mixed all of their stuff (although it looks like Vince Ratti mixed this, which is great).

 

man, all this collaboration and we can't get another clear eyes EP??

 

Unlikely to happen at this point I think, they've each got enough going on
