I remember in either some Reddit or Gawker thread, there was a discussion on positive intimate encounters with stars and someone mentioned Brian Bell and how he would play whatever song they wanted after they hooked up. So at the very least, he definitely has a history of hooking up with fans. That’s no good.

There have been rumors floating around about Brian Bell’s questionable behavior for years now. I know they came up a few times on Weezer shitposting on FB a few years ago, but no one really believed them. I hope that coming from a source like that Twitter page will give them some more traction

Really think that’s a bad idea. Not sure I’ve seen a band handle something as bad as they did.

The accusation (while staying at a fans house in the early days of the band, the singer stole an OF nude from a girls phone), whilst bad, was something I think they could have owned up to, and learnt from.

Instead they ignored it, then cried fowl when Good Charlotte kicked them off their tour. Just really soured them for even those who had good will remaining. Plus, Eddie’s “family man” persona and their status in the UK scene meant they just had further to fall.
