going from Jedi to AW2 is giving me whiplash

 

If it's anything like D3, this will be the game they plan to support and update for the next 10 years. I think some of the seasons haven't gone over super well recently and there's some disappointment there. But I think D3 eventually got to a point where people seemed to like it.

For me there are some fundamental issues with both 3 and 4 that I just don't like. I hate itemization in 3 and 4. It just feels like I'm looking for the green arrows for what's better and that's it, I don't pay attention to items nearly enough and I don't get that dopamine hit when I find a really dope piece of gear. But I am biased heavily towards their old games haha

 

I don’t know why I’m about to say something so brave, but I’m playing Redfall and really enjoying it

 

Yeah I'm in the camp of I tolerate those but don't really like them. I've become more comfortable with horror and jumpscares over time but that doesn't change me feeling like they can be very cheap haha

Ok so before getting started on trails from zero, I noticed I had Xenoblade 1 in my switch and never actually beat it so I decided to. I beat that and Future Connected......and now I kinda wanna play XBC2 and 3 before getting back to trails. Especially knowing how XB3 ties everything together.

 

XB2 was addicting. The battle system was so satisfying, I def need to play the third at some point. Just sitting on my shelf forever at this point.

 

I even brought the trails from zero cart with me over the holiday weekend cuz I was planning on switching......but after I beat the base game I was like huh Future Connected......let's see if it's worth the hype. And upon looking at user reviews before XB3 and after XB3 came out those reviews went from "basic epilogue" to "great character development for melia that makes XB3 better" and "good setup for hints of things to come" so now I'm like damnnnnn cuz I really really really liked Melia's story in FC.

 

Xenoblade 2 is by far my favorite of the series and Torna is probably my second favorite of the extra stories. 2 definitely leans more into anime tropes ans fan service than 1 or 3, but if you can excuse or appreciate that, it's such an incredible experience with an amazing cast of characters.

XC2 is easily my fav of the 3 as well

 

Not only am I an anime degen but I'm also an avid gacha enjoyer! When this came out I was like damn this is right up my alley but I didn't even have a switch yet, i just got it cuz yeah xeno title.

 

If someone asked me to name a game that I hated, XC2 would be one of the first to come to mind.

Also, to those playing Alan Wake, switch to Story difficulty if you havent already. Its more enjoyable!

That's a difficult question. There's so many bad ones out there.

 

Also Jack Black playing Steve in the Minecraft movie is so ridiculous

 

XC2 is one of the best games ever made and I will die on this hill. Torna was sublime, too.

I had to on the first boss HA! Aiming at the source points takes some real skill. The gunplay is not very 'snappy' like some other games I'm used to, takes a lot of patience and aiming and I'm used to lock on bullet sponge enemies. The shooting here requires patience and precision. So I think I will keep story mode on. Even on that setting, it didn't feel too much easier, and fighting the first boss was still a tense experience (albeit one that took 3-4 tries, and not the dozen I was on when playing normal).
