Seeing the comments about the NOAH show last night regarding Ibushi/Marufuji made me curious to see if it was truly that bad. I didn't plan on watching until this weekend and regret watching. It's truly a shame how broken down Ibushi is right now and had no business going into the match with injuries. Seeing him break his ankle and continue like that for an extended period was hard to watch. Marufuji is a modern legend, but not even he could save that from being a disaster.

 

surgery. the answer is always surgery. he just had arguably the definitive AEW world title run, it ended in as perfect a situation as circumstance would allow in his hometown, all after a year of the company being focused on him. Undisputed Kingdom have plenty of feuds lined up w the ppl they took out on the way to Max. this is THE time to heal in a way he may never get again in his career. look at Kenny and be smarter

 

I thought he was going to WWE and be in the rumble tho

 

Yep MJF needs to properly heal. AEW has more than enough talent to get by without him and he can come back to get revenge. The time off actually makes sense storyline wise too.

 

I’d be shocked if he doesn’t jump one day but he’s very clearly staying and I wish they wouldn’t keep doing that “is he leaving?????!!????” storyline

 

He also 100% needs the surgery
