Delivery apps (and rideshare apps) scam both their workers and their customers, and still don’t produce enough profit for their stockholders. It’s a broken model. But people want convenience that bad that they stay in business

 

I get an annual raise, annual bonuses, AND free lunch multiple times a quarter. Not all companies are bad and sometimes doing little things for your employees is good!!!!

For whatever it’s worth, there are horror stories out there for musicians that were enrolled in music school that are similar, in some regards, to the movie. I had a similar experience when I was in a music program for one semester where I was spoken down to by professors, who also said and did very gross and shitty things to other people over time, which led to one of them eventually getting fired
