They barely say anything on stage or at least at the Maine show they didn't. I think they plan on keeping quite just to avoid stirring things up like they did last time.

 

I just posted in the Tour page, last night was the least I've heard Jesse talk on stage (I've seen them 9 times). He's usually pretty quiet but last night he was VERY quiet. Really only said three things I think ("We're Brand New" after one song..."This is the Devil and God" before Millstone and before Untilted "We've been doing this for most of our lives, because of you. We'll see you next time...Hopefully there is a next time")

 

At the Cleveland show. I find it hard to believe Brand

You forgot he said, "Degauser" before they played it.

 

Haha, you're right. He also said "Thank You" after a few songs, particularly Play Crack the Sky.

 

So you know how on the side of your facebook feed it will have suggested pages based on things you like and whatever? i just saw a suggested page called "Deja Entinder".... im wondering if it is what i think it is hahahaha. so weird.

Now that I've seen them live again (3rd time this year!) I wish I could still get excited for something BN related in 2016 but sadly it's looking like it's going to be crickets until next year. If we even get anything ever again. Only time will tell I guess.

 

I know it's old hat, but at the end of the show, Brand New displays the flower cross/sword thing with 2000-2018 like they have been putting on shirts. Is there something to that or is it BN being BN?

The show was fantastic tonight! Can't decide if seeing Moshi Moshi live finally or hearing Jesse introducing "Degausser, baby" was the best part. Lol

I got a good kick out of Jesse tying his guitar cables around his head between songs. He did it mid set and before "--".

 

I hope they do more extensive touring in 2018. I haven't gotten to see them live. I would of loved to catch this tour but just couldn't make the drive.

 

They were so great last night. It was my 4th time seeing them and just like the 3 before it, I walked away in a state of euphoria and awe. Hearing TDAG in its entirety was an incredibly special experience for me, and one I will cherish forever. Getting Moshi Moshi was an unexpected treat. It took me a second to realize what song it was when he first started playing it. I still contend that live You Won't Know should be one of the 7 wonders of the world. The energy exuding from the stage and reciprocated by the crowd was electric. The entire show was so cathartic and cleansing for me, and I will be keeping it with me for a long long time.

I fucking love this band.

 

I was about the second row from the last seats so I couldn't see much detail from the guys. But the sound quality was so great at this venue that I wasn't even worried. I even attempted recording the audio of entire show on my phone. Haven't had a chance to listen if it turned out decent yet though.

 

Has anyone heard if brand new will be playing TDAG on the biffy UK tour yet? Was hoping it had been confirmed but I haven't heard anything personally. Really hoping they get to, just have doubts because they're supporting.
