That’s a good point. I suppose they have invested. Just doesn’t seem to be panning out well with some of the players they went for. I like Rice a lot though. I’m with you on him having a high ceiling.

 

Yeah Moore legit might be off the team next year. It’s a bummer.

 

It’s also just really hard to replace Hill. I know they won a ring without him, but losing that level of talent does eventually catch up to you if you can’t replicate it. And now that Kelce seems to be falling off a bit, you’re down two elite players you once had. No matter how hard they try, it’s just hard to replicate that lol

I was among the contingent of football fans that wrote off the concerns about the Chiefs WR corps because they had just won a super bowl with essentially the same group so I thought they’d be fine

Obviously, Rice is gonna stick around and has been solid, but, from the outside looking in, there isn’t anyone else in that group that strikes me as a lock to stick around

I’d say the same thing about the Eagles. There’s some stinky shit about the team behind the scenes, and even on the field, but they have the talent to absolutely turn it on in the playoffs

They obviously don’t have the built up cache like the Chiefs do though

I was listening to one of the random gasbags on TV pointing out the mahomes have never had to go on the road on the playoffs or whatever. And was saying it as some kind of criticism. But I find it impressive more than anything lol they’ve been so dominant they never have to go on the road? That’s cool!
