The Dodgers have spent years telling everyone they were planning for this offseason and now everyone has Pikachu face lol.

They’ve avoided spending big money for multiple seasons outside of Freddie, even with the talent they’ve already had. They’ve traded real prospects for multiple all stars over that time, only to let most of them walk for nothing. They don’t pay Seager. They shed salary and “waste” last season and still stumble into 100 wins and more embarrassment. Now they spend $1b in a week, and they’re still *checks notes* only 3rd in payroll

I feel high and I’m gonna live forever

people that are mad make me laugh. Like, you know your teams are fully capable of doing these things but choose not to to save themselves money. Dodgers created a competitive team, have been selective in their signings and trades, and now decided to truly splash the cash and everyone is mad lol

Look fuck the Dodgers and the Lakers (and the Lightning) and I recognize that I’m in the minority but “Covid championship rings aren’t legit” talk is extremely sour grapes

 

If the Yankees won it they would be screaming from the tops of rooftops just how legitimate it is, just like the Lakers did in their bubble championship

 

The team won in the schedule that was presented to make sure it could still happen. Last I checked that’s legitimate!

 

i think the Lakers bubble ring is way more legitimate than the 60 game season dodger ring. its not worth arguing about or debating over though.
