the only philly team I absolutely hate are the flyers. I don't really care either way about the eagles or phillies and actually like the 76ers cause Iverson was my dude.

 

are the Sixers the defaut bball team in the pittsburgh area? are there a lot of Cavs fans?

 

That’s funny because I feel like the Flyers are least hatable Philly team by a wide margin because they haven’t really done anything noteworthy in like a decade and the Original 6 exist to be the pretentious heel teams of the NHL

i actually dont really care about the flyers because i dont follow hockey, i don't like the sixers but i do like Embiid. but as a mets and giants fan, the phillies and eagles can die.

 

ehh not really many NBA fans in Pittsburgh honestly. Bulls were huge in the 90s.

How does the New York area work for Giants/Jets and Mets/Yanks fans?

Are most Giants fans Mets or Yankee fans? Same with Jets?

 

Just booked my work trip for Costa Rica round 2 in January.

This time I am only doing 5 nights.

 

the usual trend is jets mets and yankees giants. long island is very big mets and jets territory because the jets used to have training camp at hofstra and the mets are just closer to the island than the bronx, but NYC is big yankees and giants. long island is also very heavy islanders where NYC is rangers. people only care about the knicks when they're good.

i break the trend as a mets giants fan. #unique

It should be Yankees/Rangers/Knicks/Giants and Jets/Nets/Mets/Islanders

Nets fandom is weird because its mostly people who only became a fan of the team so they could wear something that said Brooklyn on it - i have never in my life met anyone who was a NJ Nets fan that stayed with the team when the moved into Brooklyn.

 

id say this is correct for over 80% of the population here. some idiots like me break the molds depending on family fandoms or who their friends liked growing up, or who was easier to watch on TV, but yeah, this is mostly it.
