Dumb. Should at least be 6

 

7 seed in the 16 teamer, 8 seed in the 12 teamer that I care about the least of my $$ leagues because 8 teams shouldn't be in the playoffs lol....missed the playoffs in the other two leagues.

My main auction keeper league I was 6-8, needed to be 7-7 to make it. Horrible luck in that league. 5th most points for (out of 10), 2nd most against...team looked to get rolling hot with the Fields/Moore combo and Achane emerging but then Fields and Achane got hurt and derailed that. Limped along ever since. One bad decision in week 7 (starting a returning from injury Aaron Jones over D'Onta Forman taking over the lead role in Chicago) cost me a W that week that, had I made the right decision, would have me in the playoffs thanks to points scored. Sigh.

 

I wonder how many seasons/seeds were determined by Hill getting hurt last night

 

I couldn't do math when I posted that because I actually needed 22 lol

 

We still have one more week of the regular season. 10 team league, only 4 teams make playoffs. I'm second in the league in scoring, yet in 5th place. 2-4 place are all 8-6 and I'm 7-7. I need to win next week and any one of those teams needs to lose for me to get in. I needed the 4th place team to lose this week and dude had fucking Mostert who had one of his best games of the season last night and he ended up winning by 2 points.

Go figure.

 

I wish nothing but the worst for Jordan Love and Tua forever. All I needed was 22 pts combined!!!! From the two of them (2 qb league)...and they couldn't do it. 1st place regular season gets a big pay out, I had the most pts in the league but still needed the W, but these losers decided to both have their worst games of the year at the same time.

I even made the smart call of benching CJ stroud because of jets defense and the weather.

Also I hate Matt Gay... -3 points dude???? Kicker is inconsequential in our league too unless you make 40+fgs or you miss short kicks and extra points. The other guy had the cowboys kicker lol ahhhhhh

 

Yup I 100% want to eliminate kicker even more after this season. I had two different kickers put up 0 points in a span of three weeks. Luckily we don't get negative points for misses

 

TE, Kickers and Defense should all be eliminated tbh. All of them are wildly inconsistent and there’s normally no rhyme or reason for why or when they do well.

Total crap shoots.

 

I've been trying to get rid of defenses/kickers in my league that I'm the commish of for years but can't get everyone on board haha.

That said, I have a bye this week, who's a better defense stash:

Broncos (16 vs Patriots, 17 vs Chargers)
Packers (16 vs Panthers, 17 vs. Vikings)

 

I think I would def go Denver

 

We switched to a no defense/kicker this season. I think its totally worth the change.

 

My main money league has been with the same people for over 12+ years and we JUST switched to PPR like 2 seasons ago. They're impossible to convince of any rule changes and drives me crazy. But this offseason I think I have convinced the league for the following rule changes:

FAAB - finally took commissioner getting 12th on waivers to start season to realize non FAAB is so dumb
Fractional kicker points - a 49 yard FG should be 4.9 and not 4
7 playoff teams make it and only 1 bye

 

FAAB is one of the absolute best changes to make to any league.

 

I think it's been at least 4 years I've been pushing for it in my main money league, so dumb. Been doing it for years in my other leagues.

A legit RANDOM waiver order to start season is so so lame. Objectively getting #1-3 to start season puts you in such a great spot since most league winners come early. As a Cam Akers owner, I would have spent a shit ton of money on Kyren Williams after week 1.

 

FAAB is both great and nerveracking haha. Trying to decide how much to spend and also balancing out for hte whole season is so hard

 

I legit wake up in the middle of the night every Wednesday haha. Week 1 I changed my faab to get Puka from $45 to $35 at like 2 am. The guy who won got him for $40. It's a crazy game we play hahaha

 

I still remember the sunday morning before week 1 debating picking up Puka as a FA before the games started in a few of my leagues, and not pulling the trigger because I'm a big dope too attached to my drafted players. Sigh.

He ended up going for $28 in FAAB in my one league that does it, I bid $22 and was 3rd.

Yet another "Thought about it last minute yesterday, didn't have the guts to pull the trigger" move from me. Sigh.

 

I almost didn’t because I dropped the saints for the packers last week and it bit me in the ass lol

 

With Stroud likely out, would y’all rather start Fields or Geno (he’s on waivers to grab)

also, Warren or McBride for a flex spot?

 

I think I saw Cleveland is gonna be missing soem defenders this weekend? Or at least some were on the injury report. I'd probably lean Fields for the upside, but that Geno matchup is juicy.

I got a decision I need to make with Geno...do I start him, Howell, or Flacco? I'm nervous I'll go with Geno and then the rug will be pulled out from under me monday and he'll be out.

 

yeah i have to pick between browning and geno in my 2qb league. geno has been limited the last 2 days so i'm biting the bullet and running with browning despite geno's matchup on monday. i'm probably fucked.
