dude the only game she's ever gotten really into is skyrim. she just keeps making new characters and downloading mods and stuff. it's crazy

 

I bought her The Witcher 3 because she liked the tv show and she hasn't attempted to play it at all

awhile back she was like "maybe I should get elden ring, I've heard people talk about it and I already like skyrim" lol

 

I would like to play my PS5 but I have to go to a damn holiday party!!!!!!!!!!!

 

Yeah get her Elden ring. She sounds ready

 

I couldn't tell you the last time I went to any other forum on this site but this one. Sounds like I am making the right choice.

 

i don't really post in the music forum here bc it's for dummies but i will look at new threads created for albums. also pitchfork will post like quarterly pieces on releases. allmusic has a whole release calendar. podcasts i like, twitter/IG announcements, etc. etc.

all that and then ill keep a running google doc of upcoming releases so i can get to them when they come out

 

Yeah can't imagine posting in a MCU thread and I read some shit places sometimes (including here sometimes), sorry to y'all who do

 

Sometimes I see things like "I can't believe this in the Marvel thread" or "wtf blink thread" and I'm like that's on you I think

But also sometimes I get sucked in so I get it. Sometimes this site brings out a side of me I really really don't like so I've been trying to log off more

Speaking of video games, I am looking for a new game to play. I beat Lords of the Fallen and was doing a 2nd playthrough but I want to get into something new. I started Remnant, but I don't like that you gotta re-roll the world like a billion times to get all the different weapons, mods, etc.

Was thinking FF16? I know people have loved it.

 

My wife is really like...afraid of playing video games because she's so uncomfortable with a controller, except for Splatoon which she absolutely dominates for some reason lol

She also plays GTA a little bit just so she can do weird self imposed side missions like stealing a taco truck and trying to make sales, or drive an 18 wheeler up to the highest mountain.

 

I do love FF16, it's an easy game and it's flawed but the combat is wonderful. If you've played Devil May Cry 5, the combat for FF16 is from the DMC/Dragon's Dogma combat director so it's got a similar flow to that. It's one of those games where it's so fun that you don't care that it's easy.

If you're down to try something 2D with similar difficulty to a Souls game, Blasphemous II is AMAZING. One of my favorite games of this year by far.

 

I really enjoyed FFXVI a lot. One of my fav games. It’s just a little on the easy side.

 

Speaking of forums. Does anyone here talk on other sites forums about football?

 

I also do recommend doing level 1 runs of Souls games (join me in my cult)

 

Last Faith is another option in similar vein as Blasphemous

 

this is the only place like this I use, I browse reddit a lot but don't communicate with anyone
