I have had my windshield replaced 3 times in as many years since I've been driving I-4 to and from work every day. But I don't know the cost because one of the only good things about Florida is that the state requires insurance companies to fully cover windshield repairs and replacements for insured drivers.

I've done Safelite before and it was like 250 or 300 on a Ford focus but I feel like their prices have gone up a lot. But they come to you which is convenient.
