the fact that most major console games have only gone up in price about $20-25 in like, the 25 years ive been playing video games is actually kind of remarkable considering how much better games are now than in say 1997 when a new N64 game was still $49.99

 

I was hoping for a penguin with an eyepatch and peg leg wearing a hard hat and carrying a lunch pail

 

yeah, seeing old ads with those prices is pretty crazy, and when you think about how much time you may spend playing something like madden, $70 a year isn't bad when you break it down

but still, imagine if it were less than $70....

 

Feel like Madden is only full price for a month or two after release then it drops

 

The kids gifts are at least fun to buy though. Like, buying a sweater is boring. Buying a new nerf gun and then challenging them to a duel is way more fun.

There was a company in Cleveland that made a mash up browns/cavs/indians combo shirt. I can't find it at the moment, it's an abomination.
