Just saw the video of Mahomes shaking hands with Allen after the game and instead of saying the usually good game he is crying to Allen about the offensive penalty. I like Mahomes and he seems like a good role model for kids, but this is embarrassing. Crying to the other team's QB after the game when the penalty called was clearly a penalty is goofy and dumb.

If I were more creative I'd take that America Ferrera speech from Barbie and turn into a speech about QBs and about how we expect players to be competitive enough to be one of the 32 best QBs in the world but not TOO competitive where they're upset when they lose

 

I actually thought Mahomes bitching about the call while going through the handshakes was really funny and genuine lol Brady would have ran off the field with no handshake, which I’m also fine with tbh who cares
To bring up whether it makes him a bad role model is silly imo especially in a league where the highest paid player is a serial sexual predator. Mahomes is a gem so far, we’re lucky to have him in the league

 

there is nothing inherently wrong with anything Mahomes did. he was fired up and upset about a truthfully ridiculous penalty. it is what it is, they lost. its just the optics of the NFL's new dynasty team facing some adversity for the first time in their lives and suddenly making it seem like the league is rigged against them. Nobody wanted to watch Brady bitch and complain even when he was absolutely right about calls.

 

No one blames a player for being upset when they lose. That's natural, but in this case lil Pattie had to turn it into the ref blame game. Loser mentality if you ask me.

 

A lot of fans don’t realize how difficult it is to get kids to play offensive line.

I don’t think there’s been systematic oppression against qbs and athletes especially male athletes so maybe the speech just doesn’t transfer
