I started writing a lengthier post that built more on what I was saying and what you’re bringing up, but I think I’ll save that for another day this week or sometime in the future. I’ll make sure to put it in a quote so a huge block of text doesn’t take over everyone’s screens lol

 

I live right next to the 275-I4 junction in Tampa so we hear dumb shit all the time and I feel your pain @Randall Mentzos . I probably hear engines backfiring that sound like guns once a day.

 

oh no I meant the Riverdale house right off East West Highway, with my room facing the road and a window AC unit keeping my window open lol

in the winter, when I didn’t want the AC on, when it rained, that wet tires sound was loud as fuck

I don’t think they’re a bad team. All season, I’ve been more willing to say they’ve been “good” rather than “great,” but the way they’ve played the last month has me feeling more negatively. Again, don’t think they’re bad, but idk that I’d confidently say they’re “good” right now.

I just feel like the crux of the argument is “Well this is their record and they have these players so of course they’re good,” but they’ve been really ugly over the last four games aside from, like, three quarters against the Bills that included overtime

 

I mean, they didn’t even score a touchdown tonight. Jake Browning scored a touchdown! Joe Flacco did! Zach Wilson! The Patriots scored a touchdown on Thursday! The Steelers did!

Things are trending in the wrong direction for the Eagles right now and there’s not a lot of season left to fix it. You usually want to fix problems during the bye week, not come out of it looking worse

In fairness and as a non-argumentative counterpoint, they came out of the bye into a slaughterhouse portion of their schedule and went 2-2. They have 4 games which, 3 of which against the Cardinals and Giants. Plenty of time to “get right”.

 

The Cincy Jags game has some good film in it. I know exactly what the Jags problems are and exactly what Trevor is struggling with.

but I could not finish the game cause as a fan it was so god damn infuriating hahah. It’s easier to be unbiased when we’re good, hard to just be like “damn we look like ASS fuck this” lol

 

But I’ll hate watch at least most of the All 22 of Jags Browns as well. Cause I do at least feel some vindication when I actually know why we’re struggling

 

I don’t understand why we don’t give this man more YAC opportunities. Don’t get me wrong, he’s so fucking awesome down the field, but he was also so fucking awesome after the catch in Tennessee. I don’t feel like he’s given as many of those layup opportunities here in Philly. I felt this way last year too and, while I do agree with Diante here, it has me thinking it’s more than just an OC issue

 

Dallas is actually entering a really rough stretch so the division is also very much in play still.

 

Dallas can win out and still lose the division so long as the Eagles win out too

Right now, it’s less about the division to me and more about the conference because we’ve lost our leverage against the Niners. Need them to lose a game and the Ravens are our best hope
