Condemned is owned by Monolith, who in turn is owned by Warner Bros., so Sega couldn't just make a new Condemned. And Monolith is busy making Wonder Woman.

The head of Monolith was actually looking for an indie developer to take over the franchise as far back as 2015.

I’m running it at 1080p for the crisper text. I guess PS4 is 2k but the trade off it’s 30 fps?

No, it’s 1080p alright. Also you know fps limits are arbitrary this isn’t really a good way to measure performance. Purely tdp wise they‘re both sitting around 1.8 TF, except that the steam deck has a way faster processor and a more advanced feature set.

that said purely in GPU power the ps4 is ahead in raw numbers. Obviously a lot of that is form factor and the fact that the PS4 can dissipate heat much easier and can just draw as much power from the wall as it needs.

Wrapped up Alan Wake 1 and both its DLCs over the past few days. Still not particularly taken (ha) by the combat, but the story and its presentation in the DLC was incredible. Moving on to American Nightmare next, which already feels at least a little better in terms of gameplay.

 

You have to admire their Peter Molyneux level of audacity.

 

Sean Murray and team are great. I'm excited to see what they come up with.

Does anyone know how substantial the BG3 demo is? I’ve wanted to try it but don’t know if it’s my thing. But I just saw my PS+ sub is 2 months away from renewal so I could upgrade to premium for like $4 for the rest of the sub and try the demo.

 

Is there a demo on Xbox? Cause I am also not sure about it

 

It’s not exactly a demo. It’s a game trial on PlayStation and I don’t believe Xbox offers the same feature. I believe the BG3 trial lasts for 2 hours, which considering a game that large, might not even scratch the surface to give you a real feel of it.

 

I was just looking into it. Apparently it doesn’t wall anything off, so the site recommended speeding through the character creator. I mainly just want to see if the gameplay is for me.

 

Oh yeah game trials on PSN are literally just the full game with a timer. You have to install the entire game too even though you’re only going to be able to play it for 2 hours.

 

I’m addicted to fortnite please help
