Pelicans are obviously good enough to give them fits

 

Kings may have a better starting lineup slightly, sure De’Aaron Fox Malik Monk and Damontas Sabonis is a sick core, but our bench absolutely kills theirs & forces them to commit a lot of turnovers. Valanciunas is also a good enough rebounder to prevent Sabonis from taking over that way

some teams are better matchups than others against certain teams. that doesn’t mean they’re better teams overall. the bucks are 0-2 against the pacers this year. the bucks are better than the pacers. the kings are better than the pelicans, even in the sci-fi reality where zion and ingram are both healthy. they just are. and they’re worse than OKC. they’re better than orlando but orlando in two years will be better than all of these teams.

0-2 is a very different story than 6-2 across a full year of matchups

 

fox and sabonis have taken a leap this season that ingram and zion have never taken despite being older
