Took a break from AoT S4 to watch OPM S2. Did fans not like this season? I thought it was fun. What were people expecting?

Are you referring to the ones that just happened in the anime recently? If so, no still not okay and I read it like 2 years ago.

Or are you referring to the one that happened in the manga recently? If so, also still not okay and I’ve been trying to get my friends to catch up on their reading so I can scream about it

 

the anime, but dang, this series sounds traumatizing

 

Frankly I wasn't recovered from ep 18 and then 19 kicked me in the gut while I was down

 

next ep is going to make everyone incredibly hype though

 

all the bad things in JJK caused me to watch slice of life anime’s to recover from the pain

 

Code Geass has been on my watch list for forever

If you liked Death Note I think you'll like it! Animation and design holds up and the story is still pretty wild.

It was important when it came out because it introduced mecha to a lot of people as a genre that wasn't just about the robots.

I’m almost caught up on JJK, the episode where hot businessman dies is the first I noticed where the animation really took a hit. Really a shame that MAPPA is such a poorly run studio that a really big moment had to suffer in quality. Really feel for the animators that were so devastated that they couldn’t finish the episode as intended.

 

Would the animators even be given the time to actually improve and finish those jjk episodes at some point? I read that some recent ones weren't even close to done. It would be a shame if we never get to see that finished product because MAPPA as a company can't get their shit in order nor treat their employees right.

 

the next few eps are going to include the last big fight of the arc, so we'll see how much of a decline there is between that and all the crazy Toji/Sukuna stuff

 

Well I’m officially caught up, two brutal episodes in a row. (Animation was a little better, but fuckkkkk)

 

There will be a second season of Rascal Does Not Dream of Bunny Girl Senpai following the two new movies (that I think already released in Japan?)

Kind of a nice surprise seeing a SoL anime actually get adapted beyond one cour

 

Are we sure it's a season and not another film? Not that it matters either way, give me moar.

I finished AoT S4 Pt 1. I have a rough idea of where it's heading but don't know exactly how it ends.

i think the earlier seasons are more emotionally engaging, whereas post-timeskip it's, i guess, cerebral? so politically dense with all the factions' different motivations and ideals for the future

 

They released the full trailer for the live action Yu Yu Hakusho because it comes out next week and it looks bad bad.

Unfortunate, but thankfully we still have the OG anime which is top tier.

edit3: finished! the scene where the vapor turns everyone into titans was wild, so fucked up. and Mikasa kissing Eren's decapitated head wtf??? I didn't really like the convo between Eren and Armin framing Eren's actions as "I wanted to make you guys heroes" but I do like that he acknowledged the futility of it all. I guess the finale more or less played out how I expected.

 

Just finished Attack On Titan. I watched s1 over the summer and watched 2-4 in the past week.

So emotional.
