Anyone think it might just be a Spotify exclusive video and not the official one?

I remember mark sharing a photo saying they were filming and he had makeup or something over one of his eyes. That wasn't in this video.

 

That would be pretty crazy if so because then they would have three videos for this song haha

 

If that's the case, then I will definitely believe that it was Spotify's idea to copy the WMAA video and that Blink really didn't need to do anything but "okay" it, which is still more than they should have done... haha.

But yeah, if there's a "real" video in the works, I'll be ok with that.

 

Forgot about that pic. That'd be cool if this wasn't the actual video. That was pretty amateur. If not, it's just something I'll never watch again lol.

 

He had this makeup during their Bored to Death performance with Steve Aoki.

 

Despite the fact that blink are advertising this as the video to the track on their FB?

 

Yeah, this seems really phoned in. I'm happy with blink and their success post Tom, but this reunion hasn't rolled out all that well in some aspects as far as marketing and promotion go after the release.

 

one of the best songs on the album, currently my favorite.

I like the video for what it is. Anything that gives me nostalgia feels from blink is good in my book.

What I'd really love is for them to actually do the original idea for Josie for one of the songs. Feel like "Sober" would work.

 

Hope they will do a new version of the I miss you video to the song brohemian rhapsody. With a dog instead of the cat, for the laughs.

I'd probably find this video mildly entertaining had it not been for Man Overboard. If it were the first time, I'd be ok with it. Especially since the whole Spotify segment is based around the history of the band

4. Whoever was behind the idea of this video should be fired.

5. Those girls are awkward runners.

 

Damn now I rewatched the masterpiece that is the I miss you video. At age 26, in a happy relationship and almost 13 years after its release, watching the video in combination with this song still gives me the chills and puts me in a very vulnerable spot. Ugh...

The flair and style is sooo spot on here, and no wonder bsnds like the used or mcr kind of borrowed from that whole look about a year later.

 

My issue is not that they did an homage video, but that they did it unsuccessfully. It wasn't...funny. There was an opportunity to pull this off and it didn't happen.

 

Yea, maybe if they did more to "update" it. They replaced the magnifying glass with a smart phone.... And that was all I noticed. Oh and replacing a tv with a tablet?

They could have done more to make it different.

 

Would take that over a lot of stuff.

 

I dont know why but it didn't bother me as much as it's seeming to everyone else.

Not the best video I've ever seen and it isn't all artistic and cool, and I probably won't watch it again....but I rarely rewatch a music video now a days anyway and it doesn't make me want to yell that it sucks lol

 

Anyone see the blinkumentary clip today? Will this leak somehow?
