What's the best software for 4K playback on MacOS?

I've read that VLC will work depending on the day you use it and that DVDFab is more reliable, but I'm wondering if anyone here has experience.

All right, I’ll give VLC a try. Not sure if it’s entirely free for 4K playback (will be using a 4K player instead of downloaded files).

What does that mean? 4K is just a resolution, not a file format

VLC rules for a host of reasons honestly. It was like an auto-rec when I worked at Apple

I mean if I’m wanting to playback discs through a drive connected to my Mac. I’m it sure if VLC will charge for playback features and to run main menus/bonus features.

Any recommendations for a nice wireless mouse for my Macbook Air M1?

Been trying to find a desk setup. I think I'm going to buy the magic keyboard for sure, but I definitely don't want the mouse as it sucks and is uncomfortable as hell.

you definitely want the trackpad as well then because you're going to miss scrolling sideways/gestures.

as far as mice go, the logitech MX series are probably the best money can buy.

I used to use the Magic Mouse but after getting the Trackpad I retired the mouse altogether.

I was looking at the track pad, but wasn’t sure if it could fully replace a mouse. But that might be the ticket.

Do or do not, there is no try.

It does! Seems to now be The whole year opposed to 60 albums.

it only showed your 60 recently added albums instead of all of them chronologically by the date you added them as it used to before.

It's still not my entire chronologically added history like before, but I'll take it! Still using my Big Sur installation on old MBP for this.

EDIT: I stand corrected. Entire library history is back on Sonoma 14.2 as well!:musicnote:

is it the same for you? Prestigious

The iOS update also fixed it to add recently added (for the full library) back to the sorting options!
