No, 10/7 was a terrorist attack on civilians, not a military attack on the occupying military force. Israel created the circumstances that fostered the conditions to cause people to turn to organizations like Hamas, but it was still horrible and what they did was pretty awful. But why shouldn't Palestinians fight the IDF given what the IDF does to them daily both in Gaza and the West Bank? They're constantly being forced from their homes, beaten, arrested, have no rights, etc. If Israel isn't going to treat them like humans with rights, what do they expect? Peaceful relations?

I'm sorry you feel that way. Hamas shouldn't be the governing body in Gaza, but all Israel is going to accomplish right now is killing a lot of innocent people while sowing the seeds for future terrorist attacks and extremists to arise.
