I still believe the Eagles are a good team, but they’ve had such glaring flaws since week one:

• Hurts has looked shaky as a passer at times, hasn’t been the same threat as a runner (both before and after the injury), and has had ball security issues (some fluky, some concerning)

• Swift has been a solid RB overall, but the run game has been so inconsistent at times. That blame can be divided up between Swift as a player, Hurts’ lack of rushing success, Brian Johnson as a playcaller, the injury to Goedert, but Swift hasn’t been getting it done consistently. He’ll pop a big play from time to time, but isn’t doing much otherwise. It’s a bummer to see

• The defensive back-seven is an issue, especially in the middle at LB, slot corner, and safety. Howie and the organization chose to be weaker at LB and safety! Dean is done for the season now after plying in just three full games, leaving Cunningham and Morrow as the starters. Morrow was on the practice squad entering the season and Cunningham was signed in the summer lol. Slay and Bradberry have taken steps back, especially Bradberry. The Maddox injury sucks. They haven’t gotten much out of the second safety starter next to Reed. Overall, it’s hurting the pass rush. Pass rush doesn’t mean anything if you can’t cover well enough on the backend and opposing QBs are getting the ball out quickly. Has happened numerous times this season.

 

What super bowl stuff am I doing? I’m just suggesting they will probably have to play each other in the divisional round or championship round of the playoffs lol

 

I also love bonds born out of shared hate. Jags and Texans hate the Titans. Nebraska and Texas hate Oklahoma. Rays and Red Sox hate the Yankees. It's great

 

The Niners have had this game circled on their calendar since they lost in January. They were going to celebrate regardless. Sirianni warrants a lot of justified criticism both on and off the field but this ain’t it man lol

I also love a good even rivalry. 49ers say Eagles suck. Eagles say 49ers suck. They're both right!

 

It’s gotta be the second most hated rivalry for the Eagles behind the Cowboys at this point

while I would be stoked on the packers making the playoffs I am so sick of playing SF haha

 

I’ll share my thoughts on Sirianni in a bit, but he has definitely irked me at times this season. Moreso on the field, but he is absolutely deserving of some criticism, especially after yesterday
