Yeah. If you’re going so fast you can’t see bikes or pedestrians already in the crosswalk that’s the drivers fault because they’re going double the speed limit at that point. We are talking about cities where the speed limit is 25mph. I 100% of the time am able to properly stop, look, and know that no one is coming.

If a person in a car arrives at an intersection and the light is red, and there is no traffic coming, is it ok for them to pass thru the intersection?

 

When you’re right you’re right. At my last job I thought about biking to work often because it was only like 4 miles but there’s a suuuuuuper steep incline halfway through and noped it every time lol

I worked at the senior rec center and one dude there would bike there from Golden and I'm just like...I have no other reaction to that but awe and self loathing lol

 

I also feel like no matter how safe YOU might be, you can't always account for what other people are going to do. No one is gonna be paying 100% attention 100% of the time and some of these posts seem like a gamble that personally, I don't think is worth taking. But I also live in an area that literally has the most dangerous drivers tied with Atlanta so
