Which is why, I don’t think, they’d leave them out. They’ve said for too long undefeated power 5 conference champs are basically locks (unless there’s 5 in a 4 team system).

I just don’t think the committee is willing to project the message “don’t schedule tough OOC matchups” to the big teams. Choosing Bama over Texas INSTANTLY tells your big teams “just schedule cupcakes.”

 

Yeah if these next two games go chalk, then you would see the SEC get locked out which seems insane but I don't know how you can leave either FSU or Texas out. Leaving out the first undefeated Power 5 conference champ seems bizarre.

This season is truly unique in that Texas and Bama are both 12-1 conference champs where one lost to the other. Any other season, Texas 100% gets jobbed.

 

if alabama was better than texas, they wouldn't have lost to them. why even play the games if you're using some half-baked logic where the games played don't even matter. you're smarter than this.
