I think the time is finally right to bring back hot coffee.

 

There were some nice aspects of 4, but the driving and some other annoyances just put me off. I didn't play a ton.

I think GTA has always been the best when it's leaned hard into the parody/homage like 3, Vice City and San Andreas.

 

i feel like 5 has as much or more parody / satire than the ps2 ones

 

I don't care much for GTA either, but I look forward to buying it for cheap in a few years and spending some time just walking around the city, following all the laws.

 

Hmm, I guess I never got that vibe from it that much, but I only played half the story because I got burned out and I got distracted by other games. It kind of just felt like "how crazy can we make everything?"

Vice City is just Scarface and Miami Vice and I like that it was just very much covering that very specific feeling and era.

also btw Lost and Damned was like a 95% ripoff of Sons of Anarchy and 4 was likely influenced by Sopranos some.

Alright, the second one got me.

 

Started Remnant II. I like it but don’t love it. I think I was spoiled on Returnal and this game is just missing a few things it has. Almost finished with the first level so I’ll provide a follow up to see how I feel then.

 

Welp, won $300 bucks on a football parlay last night and saw the Series X is on sale for $350 on walmart so I made the purchase.

 

If your hard drive gets too hot your pc might need better fans idk

One of my close friends has been laid off 4 times the past year and a half (including recently) so instead of selling my Series S i'm just gonna give it to him. He's been dying to play Starfield.

 

Stardew update: I think I figured out the key to getting through the Skull Caverns: Pumpkin Soup. Lots and lots of Pumpkin Soup. I made it to floor 60 with just few Pumpkin Soup buffs and 17 stairs before I ran out of time. Next run I do I am going to bring more stairs a shit ton of mega bombs.

Also unlocked Ginger Island but I don't think I am ready for that yet. My immediate goals currently are :

• Get to floor 100 of the Skull Caverns to get that big HP boost from Mr. Qi
• Find at least 2 Prismatic Shards
• Find a Dinosaur Egg and/or Void Egg
• Fill my coop with Dinosaurs and Void Chickens
• Finish the Missing Bundle so I can unlock the movie theatre (need either Dino Mayo or Prismatic Shard for that)
• Get the Galaxy Sword (need a Prismatic Shard for that)
• Eventually fill my greenhouse entirely with Ancient Fruit
• Get that last recipe item I need for Trash Bear to clean up all the trash.
• Start getting all the warp obelisks

 

Crap, got a notification they are sold out at wal mart, looks like there is one in a location a little further away, have a feeling the same thing is going to happen though

 

Did they hire one of the writers from Rick and Morty? Wtf

 

i'm back on my bullshit (playing SF6) and i'm focusing on enjoying myself even if i'm losing, which is 95% of the time

and it's working! i picked up Kimberly and i'm starting to feel like i understand her moveset and what to do in certain scenarios (even if i end up picking wrong every time because i panic, lol)

I need to play SF6 again.
