I'd been a little more responsible since August and not buying a ton, but I added 49 items to my collection in November. RSD, and the Newbury and uDiscover sales are somewhat to blame, but also there were a ton of reissues and new releases.

 

I wish the newest Local Natives album was worth buying

 

The Used should be like $10 now. They pressed a million of those. I’ll buy at that price.

 

Picked up that Willow album. Was tempted by MCR, but I never was a big fan of Danger Days.

 

I bought that variant of MCR (I rarely variant collect, but that's a good price) and PVRIS.

 

I don’t have TAYF. So that might be tempting. We will see.

 

The design of that gatefold for TBS is horrendous. The least aesthetically pleasing thing ever.

Update on trying to de-warp Americana. Still a bowl. haha. It’s the red variant and I got it for retail from a reseller so I’m not that mad but it’s kind of hard to find for a good price. I guess I’ll keep it under the books for a few more days/weeks.

 

how long did you have it under? i've done the heavy book method in the past with "fine" results. gonna attempt this with my copy of the new GUNSHIP album as it's got a slight warp in 2 spots that causes skipping on disc 1.

 

It’ll be one week tomorrow, so I guess I should be more patient.

 

They do sell some type of pizza-oven looking thing for un-warping records. Never tried it nor have any clue on how much it costs, but its out there...

 

I ordered the same record from them and it had some scratches. Although they ultimately did not affect play, their customer service refused to replace it and instead gave me a $10 credit.

For your issue, I suggest disputing the charge with your credit card company and ordering another variant elsewhere. BV kind of suck.

 

Yeah I got my tracking from BV for their Wax Bodega variants of MovMou and Hit the Lights...... That was on 11/13.

But no activity since.

 

So I should be nervous about the TBS Where You Want To Be variant I ordered from BV, or nah?
