Hey all I’m saying is I studied cybersecurity in school and the FBI legally acquiring access to otherwise restricted data in the private sector is factually a thing, we examined several case studies about that when discussing the ethical conflicts of cybersecurity

If you have an android, the FBI already legally has the ability to hack into your phone if they suspect you of anything. The one consumer friendly thing Apple has ever done is fight that in court, so the FBI does NOT have backdoor codecs for iOS the way it does for Android’s operating system. Google was just like “yeah sure go ahead of course the biggest data giant in the world supports law enforcement”
