My main gripe with Stardew Valley is Concerned Ape made the difficulty level of the Skull Caverns way too high compared too what you experienced in The Mines. I've maxed out my combat skill level, i have the 3rd most powerful weapon in the game, can tackle the hardest floors in The Mines with ease, and I still can't make it 25 floors into the Skull Caverns without dying, let alone get to floor 100 to get the Iridium Snake Milk from Mr. Qi.

It really requires you to master cooking/buffs and to get really into the game's luck system, which I can't see how any casual player could do. And you have to conquer the Skull Caverns to be able to get to the Ginger Island stuff and to upgrade your tools to the max.


Also it would be a lot easier of I could get the Galaxy Sword (2nd most powerful weapon in game) but finding a Prismatic Shard to get it is so freaking rare. I haven't come across one yet and I am looking almost daily.

 

Picked up my Playstation Portal from BB on Friday.

Definitely a luxury purchase as I only play FIFA (even worse, I only play ultimate team) on my console, but being able to play in bed has been very nice. No real stutters but definitely can tell when gameplay is not smooth.

Going to try using it at work today. Unfortunately, the NAT type for the network here is Type 3 so it won't connect to my PS5 but will be trying over hotspot later.

Everyone marketed and who reviewed this game has failed. It's not CoD or Doom.

I'm just shy of starting Day 3 of Chapter 4. A Trails game isn't complete without a scavenger hunt courtesy of Phantom Thief B.

I hate hate hate that realization. I'll buy a game, play a bit of it and then it slowly dawned on me that I'm fucking stupid and the game's makers are on a completely different level than me haha.
