Yeah I can understand why people feel like that but for me I don't really care. They're comic characters at the end of the day and to me I can still appreciate the arc she goes on in WandaVision even if she completely contradicts that in the next film although I don't think that really happened, it felt more like a continuation than anything to me.

Not to say I don't think they should write long term arcs or keep characters relatively consistent but I'm fine with them bending these characters way more than most people seem to be, especially if it's as fun as Wanda in this film.

Honestly imagine if he was. The hell was I saying.

I love you all. Some MCU is good some MCU is bad.

I honestly don’t remember much from this movie. Haven’t had any desire to go back to any of the movies since Endgame. Unfortunate but is what it is

This might be a post for the general MCU thread, but since this one is active...

I think next year, since the MCU will be relatively quiet, I might take the time to revisit Phase 4 and onward, and see if any feelings of mine change with a rewatch.

Actually, I just remembered my other gripe with this film is that the post-credits scene gives absolutely no indication of who Clea is, why she matters, or why anyone should care that she's shown up.

I forgot about that. I don’t think I ever looked into who Clea was either

Not this movie but kinda relevant, there's just a real toxicity on the internet when it comes to bitching about anything

Not directed at the points made in here, most of them aren't wrong, but I don't blame people for getting worn down about this kind of stuff

Clea is important in the comics both as Dr. Strange's main love interest and as the daughter of Dormammu, the latter of which they could have at least hinted at.

I think nobody knows the what word toxic means anymore.

Campaigning against Kelly Marie Tran due to her race and/or gender is toxic. Calling a movie’s color palette ugly is not toxic. Get over it.

Calling a movie's color palette ugly is fine, but I can certainly see how jumping on a post that's specifically talking about how much they like the movie to comment that would be unwelcome

I think the biggest problem I’ve had with a Marvel color palette is the end of No Way Home because Raimi showed how great Spider Man is with a wide variety of colors, while that final fight is a sepia-coated mess.

Rumors popping again that Raimi is one of the top choices to direct the two Avengers movies. I love Raimi and I like MoM, but I do not want him anywhere near the Avengers movies.

If they want Raimi in the MCU, give him a movie that doesn't need to so heavily tie into other projects. He pretty clearly doesn't care that much about that aspect of the universe considering he didn't watch Wandavision for MoM, so just don't put him on projects that basically require him to do so. Something in the vein of the Werewolf by Night special would be perfect

I don’t want to be near any Avengers movie. MCU is washed it needs a much needed break a La Assasins Creed. Don’t @ me

Anyway, whoever takes it on should definitely be someone with ensemble experience. Being able to juggle different personalities and give them all moments to shine is going to be key.

Infinity War and Endgame did such a good job of this.

Is that interview new or something with Elizabeth Olsen where she confirmed the writers of Multiverse didn't watch or know the script of WandaVision because the show wasn't finished?

Come on, Marvel. You could at least share scripts even if the show is a work in progress.

Not sure which interview, but it’s been known since either before or right after the movie came out.
