@Henry I think I remember you mentioning that to me before when we were talking about Deadpool. Archie's probably my favorite series this year - that said I have also been rewatching a lot of John Hughes this year so they may or may not be related on where I am right now haha

Oh man this looks so awesome

 

So it is basically like all the rumors. If this console did sell well, that part of people bringing their Switches to have "local" multiplayer on individual screens would be incredible.

This looks so awesome. Will definitely be getting this.

 

This basically solves every problem I have with modern gaming.

1. I travel a lot and carrying around a console on intercontinental travel is a waste of time.
2. Local multiplayer is still more fun than online.

I would hope for a large hard drive to go away from physical, but those little cartridges are easy enough to carry.

 

Considering that it's gonna be a replacement for 3DS and Wii U, I'm 99% sure I'll buy it day one.

And I love the name. It's so easy to remember.

 

Wonder what the hardware specs will be for such a small device. Looks like it can at least run WiiU games based on the Splatoon footage.

 

They had Skyrim in that trailer from the looks of it too. This is going to be such an awesome console.

 

Pretty good direction. Instead of dividing their developer pool into two different gaming devices, they pretty much combined them.

This actually means we'll finally be getting a main title Pokemon console experience. :)

 

I want to know if I have to repurchase Wii U games as "Switch" ports or if it's backwards compatible. I don't even know if it has a disc drive though. I'd have to watch the video again.

 

Maybe it has one on this "dock," but hard to tell based on this.
