Who? This is kinda sick...

 

I found them on instagram, I was following the label they’re on. I was worried at first this would just be like 10 songs that are straight up 1975 worship music but they do a lot of their own stuff or mix it up a lot. Also it’s just really strong songwriting all around

 

intrigued. they seem to mix in a bit of Turnstile’s…recent vibe?

This LP is kind of fucked up in the best way like Porter Robinson’s last LP

Not to be pedantic, but shouldn't the band name and album title be swapped in this thread title? ("COWBOYS LIVE FOREVER" is the album, murdermart is the band).

This gets better every time I go back to it. Even the stuff that felt too corny or forced at first has grown on me. They don't pull off every trick they try, but there's at least one big "wow" moment for me in every track. Hope they keep going.

only qualm is that the production makes some of the songs feel “empty” for a lack of the word. But I’m def keeping an eye on this band

I had a lousy Thanksgiving, but listened to this during a long drive back home afterwards, and it totally snapped me out of the bad mood. All these songs are so cathartic.
