It’s not just about paying for an apartment or house to sit in, it’s about paying to be around culture and activity

I thought I’d be happier in Jacksonville because my rent was $900 a month for a 4 bedroom house. Plot twist, I wasn’t.

Played plenty of drums and loud guitar in my big ass house, did touring and traveling and went to the beach and Jags games… but the minute playing at the same 3 music venues got old and the minute I realized how bad abuse culture and other conservative cesspool shit is there, I couldn’t wait to get the fuck out.

It was also harder to make money there cause service jobs had slow ass business half the year so the money “saved” eventually became a moot point

 

Also he hasn’t played his “give me a second chance my coordinator sucks” card yet, where Mac has and failed yet again lol

 

Eventually the biggest benefit of saving money on rent was “I can go other places!” It wasn’t even about Jacksonville at that point, I looked forward to any opportunity to go do other things somewhere else. And now that I live in the northeast I’m like… wtf I save that same money just by not driving 5-6 hours and taking off work just to change up my routine

 

There are many factors that go into living somewhere
