Looking at the metal and beer lineup, a Dying Fetus / Jesus Piece / Internal Bleeding / 200 Stab Wounds tour would be badass and also fall in line with how they usually curate their lineups

based on the daily lineups I’d say Dying Fetus and 200 Stab Wounds is def a tour.

Holy shit that’d be badass. I was thinking Tomb Mold would be on it too but Internal Bleeding would be insane

Anyone know of a good website/Instagram page with a NYC show calendar? I’ll be in the city 1/19- 1/22 and wouldn’t mind going to a show while there but don’t know where to begin looking for one.

This definitely feels like they're trying to course correct after the criticisms about lack of females. But also, is there any way some of these were already in discussion and just not ready in time for the main lineup announcement? Just the fact that Hey Monday, Tonight Alive and We Are The In Crowd are all reunions.....that would be very impressive if they managed to put those negotiations and offers out all in 2 days.

Seems more likely they were saving reunion bands to keep momentum leading into onsale.

I highly doubt that from 1pm EST Monday to early Wednesday morning, they receive backlash, process it as being something to act on, send offers and get confirmations from everyone that’s been added, and announce. There’s no shot these weren’t prior negotiations or locked in already.

are the daily lineups out already?

  18. There's not enough female pop artists named Mandy Moore, Vanessa Carlton, Aly & AJ, or Ashlee Simpson on the WWWY lineup!

(Hoping they do damage control and make those happen next haha)

    The intrusive whisper fascinates me

As much as I’d like to think LiveNation listened and had a change of heart, I’m not completely convinced they got these bands as a response to backlash.

How do you suddenly pull a handful of reunions and rare album-plays out of a hat in a matter of a couple days?

It seems like these were always in the cards and were due to be announced eventually, but they just did it now to avoid further backlash. But I’d like to be wrong

My band had a release show scheduled here for 11/4, which got pushed to 12/23... then we saw Jim saying he was looking for a job & realized our show was never gonna happen. It's a sad situation all around, but the lack of communication has really fucked a lot of people, on top of so many people losing their "home" venue

Edit: of course they make an official announcement 3 minutes after I post this haha
