The showtime anytime app is closing down in December so I won’t be able to use my parents login anymore for showtime. Fucking thing sucks.

 

So are they just gonna switch over to paramount plus which has all of the showtime stuff or what

I’m pretty sure you do cause I tried to watch no country for old men on there the other day and it was locked so I had to go to the showtime app.

 

If you had an active Paramount Plus subscription when they combined, you get the Showtime stuff for free until your billing cycle is up, then it will renew you at the increased price for Paramount Plus with Showtime unless you manually change it back to Paramount Plus only.

Tbh I am looking to part 2 of the final season of The Crown next month, because at last that is going to cover a period of royal history I don't know much about.

The story they're telling in these first 4 episode is a story we have seen adapted in film and tv over a half dozen times over the past 25 years.

 

Paramount+ with showtime is $1 more than regular ad-free Paramount+.

 

Also according to Josh’s post it is $6 more

I just looked and it would be $6 more for me which isn’t bad but fuck the streamers. I had a free cable login. So even if you pay for it through your cable provider you can’t use the app. Seems bad! Sorry I won’t bootlick the streaming companies like some of you!

 

The $6 a month has ads. Ad-free (which I was already paying for when the showtime deal was introduced) is $11.

Edit: Apparently they no longer have this $11 version, it’s either basic with no ads or the Showtime plan which removes ads and gives you showtime for $1 more than it used to be.

 

I do think it’s insane that if you pay for it through cable they no longer give you an app to use.
