I highly recommend Strike Anywhere. They're very political and outwardly so with their logo, but their songs are very powerful and great music to longboard to. Then again, they appeared on some Tony Hawk games, so you know it's good.

They have a great discography, my personal favourites being their first three albums. There's also a fanmade YouTube channel that has compiled just about all their work up until 2012. Check it out!

My buddy introduced me to this band called "The Electric Sparks." They've got this awesome indie rock vibe with catchy hooks and killer guitar riffs. If you're into bands like Arctic Monkeys or The Strokes, you'll definitely dig them. Give 'em a listen!

solid indie pop/rock from the south suburbs of chicago. heavily inspired by the weakerthans, the rentals, weezer, death for cutie, etc.
