All is not lost today, Closure in Moscow's Soft Hell preorder arrives today. Stoked to see both Bandcamp variants I ordered.

 

I would just avoid anything on backorder. Never had issues with anything in stock.

Would love to find Noah Kahan's Stick Season for less than $40, but that does not seem to be happening.

 

I probably won't order anything from them again until I get this delivered. The one that was backordered is in stock but one that was in stock is now on backorder. They seem to always be having a sale though

 

I saw that I got an email from Bandcamp last week that my order shipped out, but can't seem to find a tracking number anywhere. Where did you see your tracking number?

Got an email from Australia Post with tracking info the day after Bandcamp sent a notification that my order had shipped.

 

Thank you! I did receive that email and thought it was for another order I placed that was shipping from Australia. Looks like it hasn't left the country yet, but should be going out soon. Ah well. At least it's in transit.

Ha, I've ordered from them 2-3 times and have only had an issue once, when I ordered something I didn't realize was backordered. Even in that instance, they gave me a refund pretty quickly once I realized the record wasn't coming. From my experience, as long as you don't order anything that's backordered, you have a good chance of getting it.

 

You spin these yet? I wanna know how EINACDP sounds... My original press has got pops and crackle here and there and seeing how this is remastered I really wanna double dip as well as "Those Who Tell the Truth..."

Haha. Yeah I'm not knocking Merchbar. It does seem like they're hit or miss with folks.

I mean it's probably no worse than ordering off of Interpunk nowadays. Now they seem pretty shady for the last while!

 

As long as you don’t order anything on backorder from merchbar you’re fine. I’ve ordered through them for 2 years and not a single issue. Just make sure it says “in stock” when you’re checking out.
