In that case, maybe I can just ask this one thing. So the fucking tetris pieces are killing me. Like, a single square in the middle of a particular puzzle, that's absolutely impossible, right? Or like five L-shaped ones in a row. I guess I don't understand what the squares represent despite beating like 12 of the 'intro' puzzles for that mechanic. Any tips?

I can post pictures if you don't quite remember what I'm referring to.

The single square is just a single square. I think I know what your problem is but I'm trying to figure out how to explain it without being incredibly confusing. While you have to include all the tetris symbols on the board under the section you make, and the solution you make can only be made of those tetris shapes, the shapes (what you're making) don't necessarily have to overlap their symbol (what was given to you on the puzzle), as long as the shapes are in your solution somewhere. For example, say you have

X
X
X X

as a solution, with the top X having a symbol of a single square and the middle X having a symbol of three vertical squares. This works because your solution is a larger shape, made only of the two things requested (a single square and three vertical squares) and includes the two symbols. However, you don't have to have the single square exactly where the symbol on the puzzle is - it's on the bottom right of my hypothetical puzzle, but it's still in there, which works.

You might have already understood this and I'm completely misunderstanding the problem you have, and this explanation also could be zero help because I think I explained it poorly. If that didn't help, I'll see what I can do from a picture.

Right, no, you explained it well! That's what I thought as well. I appreciate the verbalization. That being said, however, I still can't beat the initial puzzle that prompted my question. Check this SS out below, am I still missing something? This attempt led to a fail, telling me that the two vertical groupings of three had their requirements met, but not the horizontal one in the middle.

 

The first one is the only one on youtube. The rest are subscriber content.

Honestly, with this puzzle, not anymore. I'm so pissed but I can't break it, haha.

 

Gotcha! That's awesome they are doing 50 turns for each. I remember in the first one one of the brothers hated everything about it.
