Big day for tour announcements happening too far into the future.

Is Thursday the new Monday/Tuesday for announcements?

 

I was about to say… I’m not used to Thursday tour announcements at all. Haha. Green Day announcing theirs on a Thursday threw me off

 

I think it's just random as far as the day - my guess is summer tours are trying to get announced before Christmas season - because what makes a great gift in 2024 - Creed tickets

Oh weird… It was just a couple of Snail Mail shows in late Feb. Two shows in LA and two in SF

 

I've only seen Creed once and it was in 2000 during Creed-mania at a radio festival in Hartford, CT. I have to admit they were pretty great.

 

One of those dates is NoisePop in SF, I'm assuming? This line-up is wild...

I saw Creed in 2000 as well -it was fun, a little batshit crazy - saw a guy grab another guy by the collar, swing a punch, and still completely miss, maybe it was a Creed miracle - one of our friends was 21 so we'd crowd surf him so he could get to the beer line quicker - good times

 

I officially have no concept of arena band

 

AJR has been playing large rooms for a while so this makes sense.

 

Honestly, out of all bands posted here recently that upgraded to arenas, AJR is the only one that’s made sense to me. Those guys have a wicked following

 

Probably do a second night at MSG since it's a hometown show.

 

Koyo comin' in hot with an unplugged "celebration" of their latest album. Hopefully people don't show up assuming it's a full album play.

They’re decent if you’re into pop stuff. OK Orchestra reminds me a bit of Fun with like half the songwriting chops.
