I'm glad people are enjoying these new songs. I'm gutted they're not really doing much for me. I am a huge fan of everything up to 21CB but I've felt jaded with everything after. To me it's felt like they've lacked direction since absolutely exploding with AI and they've never find the sweet spot since.

Hopefully the album will surprise me.

Green Day combining Chester-ish vocals with Weezer guitars sounds like disaster potential lol. I'll give it a chance though

people are notoriously bad at describing things.

    cool lyrics, though.

This is so sick. They played an acoustic full band set at a London pub. Apparently this is only the 12th time they've ever played "Walking Contradiction" and the first time since 2001.

Guess having a London ticket for tonight was too good to be true :(

I guess everyone is sick or something. They cancelled tonight’s show super last minute

If anyone was sick at that club acoustic show, then everyone is now sick lol.

  11. Especially if your bass guitarist is probably not vaxxed.

We've already had the back-to-basics political single and the suspiciously catchy follow-up!

I'm always curious how one ends up seeing a band like Green Day in a small pub? Are they just lucky and the band turns up or what?

I'm wondering if there were clues on their Instagram. Looked such a cool event.

Yeah, teased on their Instagrams I think. Then people just ran round London to whichever pubs they thought it was until they got lucky

I heard “Holy Toledo!” today for the first time in a long while. Wonder when they wrote it because it’s still weird that such a solid song came out of the FOAM era.

FOAM as a whole sucks so hard, but I do think that something like Graffitia is pretty decent as a standalone song. They still have the chops, but just such a misguided vision sometimes where to go on whole projects. That's why I hope so dearly that they put it together on this one

I tried listening to Graffitia a handful of times since they played it live but uhh... it's not good.

I wonder when we'll get another single
