  2. Politics twitter is getting a kick out of brain storming Hillary campaign slogans right now. The pre-debate lull.

not really. johnson is a libertarian. his views are opposed to pretty much all of stein's besides maybe foreign policy.

This is actually a really well reasoned and thoughtful critique. Highly recommend giving it a read: How Half Of America Lost Its F**king Mind

EDIT: It should be noted I don't agree with all or even nearly all of this, but it's good to every once in a while hear perspective from someone else outside of your usual source of criticism

i wasn't trying to imply that they have similar policies at all. you said you can't fathom a vote for johnson because he has terrible ideas. stein has her fair share of those as well. every candidate on the ballot does.

I hadn't read anything about this, I am reading through the wiki article. This is fucking horrible. I don't know how I missed this story!

Thanks for sharing, that's a terrible story.

i just think johnsons ideas are substantially more terrible than any of jill's and jill has many ideas that arent terrible at all

Thanks for posting! I read that the other day and I really enjoyed the perspective. I am interested to hear people's thoughts on it.

(btw, you posted a link to page 2 of the article)

I usually don't like Cracked but I think that article was one of the most well-written and reasoned perspectives on the nature of this election that I have read.

"The major digital economy companies which have disrupted major economic sectors survive by creating inherently unstable and vulnerable monopolies such as Google (search engines), Apple (music and other digital media within a corporate walled garden), and Facebook (social media). They may be profitable today, but the economic logic they are based upon tends toward zero prices and zero profits (hence, one can add, as the author does not, the stress of corporate interests on securing intellectual property rights in new investment agreements such as the TPP.)"

  12. Part of me thinks that Trump saw how he walked into the Alicia thing in debate 1 and got destroyed afterward and the lesson he took was: well, I gotta bring people to the debate! That's the solution! And totally doesn't understand why that entire thing happened .... and why he got hamstrung by it for weeks ....

Don't like that new tracking poll that came out

Honestly, I'm surprised that Trump hasn't uttered a racial slur during this entire thing.

  15. I have many thoughts on how wrong this is from a technical perspective, especially in regard to holding up Wikipedia as an example. But an interesting argument.

Which one? The crappy IBD/Tipp? Definitely an outlier.

  18. I'm expecting a racial or sexist slur at some point. Then four days of Fox saying "but rappers..."

This was all disproved in 1999 by a DNA test, wasn't it?

  25. It was but recently Drudge recanted and said it wasn't or something so he could start posting about it again. I only barely was paying attention.
