Are we on the lineup?

 

Paramore doing Riot or FOB doing FUCT? Neither seems as big as black parade but I can’t come up with anything better off the top of my head

That’s my guess too. FOB has been rumored for a while now

 

Each band are going to play a full album but will not end up playing the whole album in it's entirety just to screw with people from chorus.fm

 

I think wwwy isn’t really about the headliners anyway. All the headliners play lots of festivals. I think it’s the whole line up being stacked that makes them special

Ideas off the top of my head

 

Oh man if we get some album plays I might be in this year

 

Album plays mean longer sets, which means less bands

 

You already weren’t seeing more than 10-15 bands on the lineup unless you were attending multiple days. And at a certain point in the evening it becomes impossible to leave/get to the main stages. It seems to me they’re just being realistic about a problem the fest would have had regardless.

Hootie/Collective Soul/Edwin McCain is suuuuch a fun lineup! The Utah date is the same night as Blink-182 though, soooo I'll be missing out on summer camping with trucks...

 

So I’ve seen a lot of people saying that the week long Phish fest on the firefly grounds in August means that Firefly probably isn’t coming back this year. Cause they won’t have two fests on the same grounds within two months of each other. I certainly get the thinking, but I’m not so sure that’s true. Thoughts?

I agree, I can't imagine they impact each other. They're trying to push the speedway as a venue for more large events so the state/county/city will do everything it can to make both events happen.

 

I’d drop everything to see a Blue Album album-play

 

Barenaked Ladies are playing the Boston date only too
