True Romance soundtrack/score getting a pressing. Wasn’t this Tarantino’s first script that went to film?

Gonna Ride My Palomino, Ride 'im to the Fair.

I don't know how everyone feels about this, so apologies in advance, but does anyone have any holiday album recommendations?
Every year I tell myself to buy one new Christmas album... and I end up buying at least 3. I have a decent amount of stuff by now, but am always on the look out for more.
Anyone have any favourites? I'd love to hear/read your stories.
(yes, I'm the guy who kicks into Christmas gear on November 1st.)

  7. I bought Relient K and NFG's this year just so I could display them in December ... like the loser I am.

    Those are my faves.

Also, I've compiled a playlist of "punk" X-mas songs over the years.

Want to get that August Burns Red Christmas album, but I don't want to pay 60 bucks for it.

  12. The Christmas records by Kacey Musgraves, Bing Crosby, and Ray Charles are a few off the top of my head that usually get some spins in December

I believe Punk Goes Christmas is getting a RSD Black Friday pressing. Other than that, I usually turn to the NFG December's Here collection, and the sentimental fave from my childhood is Beach Boys Merry Christmas From The Beach Boys that just got a nice re-pressing at UDiscover Music. Most of the time I just make my own playlist and add to that, so it's hard to find a comprehensive vinyl collection...

Off the top of my head, the ones I spun last year (and likely will again this year) were Trans-Siberian Orchestra's "Christmas Eve and Other Stories" and The Muppet Christmas Carol soundtrack. Not too much help in terms of this scene, but that's where I'm at so far, haha.

Also it’s by no means a holiday record in terms of lyricism, but Beach Fossils The Other Side Of Life: Piano Ballads hits the exact vibe of a December evening with the lights dimmed and curling up next to the fireplace. I couldn’t imagine spinning it any other time of year

A Charlie Brown Christmas is GOAT.

Got the Target version a couple years ago with a cool lenticular that we usually put up too.

Vince Guaraldi's "Linus and Lucy," is one of the greatest songs of all time, for me. It manages to captivate the sound of the holidays and be completely unique to the Peanuts all at the same time. It can also be played on the hottest summer day and still evoke joy. ...And that piano melody is unmistakable. It's just so damn beautiful. You are not wrong, Daniel.

Kacey Musgraves, She and Him, and Bright Eyes Christmas albums are all records that I dig out for the holidays. Did they ever press the Sufjan X-mas albums? I don't have but would totally get them if I ever saw them.

I have the Poppy Christmas EP but that’s it. Should probably get the Bright Eyes and Kacey Musgraves at some point
