lowkey @Penlab and Sophgod have been the reason why I started wanting to complete games actually and now I’m through like 4 or 5 games in 2 months so that’s cool

 

the key is start slow and don’t put too much pressure on yourself (something I struggle with). Once you finish one game the motivation to hit another increases ten fold. J love seeing credits roll especially when the game is good

 

I started wanting to finish more games in fall 2018 when *ducks* red dead 2 dropped and I made it to the end, the first game I rolled credits on since the Witcher 3 in 2015 at that time since I was still a full time WoW player. After that in a few month stretch I remember knocking out not only RDR2, but also dragon age inquisition, far cry 4, assassins creed origins, uncharted 4, god of war 2018, and shadow of colossus remake. That was the start of wanting to finish games but the following year I started full time raiding WoW classic vanilla up until the pandemic hit which is when I bought my current and first ever gaming PC and started the journey that got me to the type of obsessive enthusiast I am today. Wouldn’t change a fucking thing this hobby is my reason for being and it brings me so much happiness and joy and a sense of belonging

 

I’m all about completing games. So let’s go!

I never expect people to go as hardcore as myself but whatever motivates you and if rolling the credits is the goal: winning.

 

Yeah I’ll never be a completionist for real lol I don’t really get the appeal myself but I do want to do more optional content I just don’t want to feel obligated to do everything there is to do

as someone whose switch is full of games I bought but have barely started I applaud No New Games November.

 

I'm gonna play only new games and buy all of them and never play 70% of them

 

this is my current list of completed games. I hope to finish super Mario wonder tomorrow to hit a 3 game month for October. I did have a couple two game months in the summer because a. The games I was playing were HUGE and b. I spend time outside *shudders* during those months

everyone should play boltgun if they haven’t it’s the best 8.5/10 I’ve ever played in my life if that makes any sense

 

God the score in Super Mario Wonder is so fucking good, love all these different takes on classics.

 

This is me except replace new with old and 70% with 90%.

 

The best part of this list is that you seemed to have had a good time with all games.
