I’m honestly not sure why Hackett plays it so safe. The only time our offense is moving is when we are at least trying to move Zach around. Zach even looked…dare I say comfortable, today. Lazard and Wilson both had big drops on some pretty good throws.

I get with Zach’s history they are cautious, but he has made some improvement it looks like and I did not understand a lot of the playcalling today.

Watching Josh Dobbs really illustrates how hard it is to be a QB in the NFL. He had Brown open but just couldn’t get the ball there on the run. A special arm is a prerequisite for making a lot of plays under pressure that aren’t there for a Dobbs. Wasn’t a bad read, but backup QBs are under pressure to do what the starting QB does while having a lot more limitations
