you could do a lot worse than the vintera series by fender. some of the teles have hunbuckers in them so it can get closer to the gibson sound but fender neck profile. the vintera is basically the equivalent line to the made in mexico fender stuff. if you buy used on reverb or whatever shouldn’t be more than a few hundred bucks
