Dammit was def. the first big radio hit, it wasn't as massive a WMAA or ATST but they def. had a "hit" with Scott in the band.

 

I think it’s impossible not to hear Boxcar on Neighborhoods or OMT. If you pay attention you can hear it even in TOYPAJ. Is Tom’s style and is all over the place in his albums. AVA too.

 

It was in “Can’t Hardly Wait” too - a soundtrack of nothing but bangers.

 

I’m not a hater at all but I understand people who lost interest in blink when Tom left, it happened to me too. It was not something intentional or some “fuck Matt Skiba” but I just didn’t approach their music the same way. I do like a lot of California and some Nine, but they do feel different to me. Travis explained it really well in the Zane interview, I felt identified with what he said.

 

Giving Neighborhoods a listen rn. God I want a remix of Up All Night with that intro they do live where Tom just keeps it going on the guitar

Did the Apple Music version of Childhood change dramatically for anybody else? Mark’s “whoa-oh”s in the verse is totally gone, but it’s still there in the digital deluxe.

Wow. Like, I won’t revise history and pretend untitled hit me hard right away. The shift to being Tom heavy didn’t sit well with me as I have been a Mark guy since day 1 of my fandom haha but within a year I came around to love it. This guy is insane though haha
